The Cedar Gate

Privacy

This page is about the member and guest app: sign-in, events, scoring, galleries, and texts. It is not the WordPress site.

What we collect

When you use the app we may have:

  • Your name and email, which is how you sign in. There is no password.
  • A phone number, if you give us one, and whether you asked for texts.
  • A headshot, if you upload one.
  • Your scores, RSVPs, and which events you joined.
  • Photos from event galleries that you save to your phone.
  • A signed waiver, handled by WaiverSign.

We do not track you across other companies’ apps, and we do not sell your information.

Who we share it with

Only what is needed to run the app. Email codes go out through Resend. Texts go out through Twilio, and only if you turned texts on. Waivers are signed on WaiverSign. Photos and headshots are stored on Vercel Blob. The database is Postgres on Neon. Hosted-event registration and payment happen on the public event page, and money goes to the host through Stripe. The Cedar Gate never receives that payment.

How to delete your account

In the app, open Profile and tap Delete my account. That removes your login, your name, and your contact details. Scores that already sit on an event card stay with the event, because those cards are the record of the shoot.

You can also ask us from a browser. Write to The Cedar Gate or call Abi at 405-795-9646 or Stacey at (405) 370-1952. We finish deletion within 30 days.

How long we keep it

Your account stays until you delete it or The Cedar Gate closes it. Competitive scores are kept with the event. A signed waiver is treated as good for one year from the day you signed.

Texts

Marketing email is opt-out. Texts are opt-in. Operational texts (gate codes, cabin numbers, check-in) never ride the marketing unsubscribe list. The full messaging policy is at /sms.

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party.

How often: only when something is happening on a booking or an event you chose, which is about 2 to 4 messages per stay or event. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.
